Tania
Alexandra: Often described as quirky and
kind, Tania Alexandra emanates her love of the authentic oddities
of life. Her music reflects this as does her mission: "to spread
creative energy like a colorful weed". This tumbleweed undertaking
has made Tania's experience nothing more than eclectic. A native
of Colorado, Tania has resided in Philadelphia, where she infused
herself into the arts community as a singer-songwriter, music and
movement specialist, session vocalist, vocal arranger, and human
being. |

Johnny Miles:
is a writing, recording, performing artist from Westmont, NJ. A life-long
lover of all kinds of music, Miles' work reflects a wide variety of
influences and styles from solo folk to crashing rock and roll to
all points in between. His third full-length record When The Saints
Sleep will be released this summer and he can be seen in venues throughout
the U.S. solo or fronting his bands The Waywards and The Knocked Out
Colds. |

Charlotte Littlehales:
At twenty three, she’s been writing and performing her own music
for eight years, a practice she picked up as a sophomore in high school.
After earning her bachelors degree in jazz performance at Philadelphia’s
UArts, Charlotte is currently dedicating herself to writing and recording
her first album, which will be a touch of all of her musical influences.
She is living and performing in Philadelphia with her talented friends.

Damon Hamilton:
I am:
a singer/songwriter/producer/lover of music, the 2nd son of Paula
and Raymond, a student of Stevie, an admirer of Alicia, a peacekeeper,
a peace-maker, a pianist./ I am: six
foot even, bright-eyed, brown-skinned, curly-lashed, Newton-born,
NewYork& L.A.-bred, Philly-based, a minimalist, a nomad, a poet.
/ I am: happy, prone to napping, quick
to laughter, slow to anger, calm by nature, sarcastic, anti-dramatic,
a salsero. / I am: descendant from Conquistadors,
wise Africans, proud Indians, from Altus, Oklahoma kin. /
I am: Damon Hamilton & this is my
project… |

Mary Bichner:
BOX FIVE is the brainchild of Mary Bichner, a 27-year-old composer
and performer hailing from the bustling metropolis of Philadelphia,
PA. Combining Mozart-inspired chord progressions and bratty Brit-rock
hooks into a musical succotash she likes to call classipop, the eccentric
yet loveable redhead hopes to breathe new life into the calcified
world of "radio-friendly" contemporary music through her
memorable melodies and solid songwriting. |

|
|
| |
The
Fleeting Ends:
is a band that hails from Upper Darby, an industrial suburb of Philadelphia,
PA. Their sound owes as much to their American roots as to the British
classic and new wave bands they obsess over. Their self-titled debut
record's sound gives a nod to XTC's Black Sea, and includes a cover
of The Smith's "Girl Afraid." Take the Rolling Stones swagger,
the rawness of The Strokes, the melody of The Beatles and pour it
through a funnel of The Clash and strain it with Wire and you have
The Fleeting Ends. |

Erik Mitchell: With
the wit of Randy Newman, the nostalgic sincerity of Tom Waits, and
the modern poetic detail of Josh Ritter and Jack Johnson, Erik can
spin a tale through his music seldom heard in songwriting today. He
displays an exceptional gift for narrative, which is the focal thread
running through each of his songs. Overflowing with vivid characters
and settings, it has been said that listening to his music is like
watching a series of four-minute movies. His colorful stories are
matched with timeless guitar melodies, while his live performances
offer intense emotion, intimate delivery, and sharp humor. |

|
|
| |
Julie
Clark:
has garnered considerable acclaim as an emerging artist. Her many
accolades include winning the Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition
winning 1st Place in the Great American Song Contest; and being
named Folk/Acoustic Artist of the Year at the Virginia Music Awards.
From her home base in Norfolk, Virginia, Clark maintains a busy
national touring schedule of performances at premiere festivals
and venues. |

Michael
Logen: Michael is an internationally touring
pop/folk artist, having toured in 47 of the 50 United States as well
as Spain, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Portugal and France. He grew up
Mennonite in small-town PA before loading up his junker car with guitars
and gear to head to Nashville where he signed to Combustion Music.
Recently, Michael has opened for John Legend, India.Arie, Mat Kearney,
Jonny Lang and Sister Hazel. As well as writing all of his own material,
Michael has cowritten with Jonny Lang, Mat Kearney, Katharine Mcphee,
Melissa Manchester, Gordie Samspon and Will Hoge as well as many others. |

|
|
| |
Amanda
Duncan: was blessed with one roaring set of
pipes. And even before the 2009 independent release of her "Love
I Have For You" EP, Duncan was able to drum up considerable success,
based solely on some homemade demos, her live show, and her infectious
personality, opening for names such as Eric Hutchinson, Ari Hest,
Secondhand Serenade, Melissa Ferrick, and Jenny Owen Youngs. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Nick Annis: is
an award-winning songwriter, but he is also admired by folk fans for
the storytelling talent that makes his performances so memorable.
Audiences return to hear him deliver spoken word pieces in the style
of brilliant songwriter / storytellers like Gamble Rogers, John McCutcheon,
and Dave Carter. Drawing on his diverse background and Greek roots,
Nick crafts “true” stories and timeless accounts of humanity.

|
| |
|
|
| |
Liz Miller:
The gravel in Liz’ deep voice would suggest a world weariness
yet, her songs range from fun to awkward to profound. Liz is an award
winning songwriter with over 40 songs signed to publishers. Her songs
have been placed in film and TV, and have been cut by several Independent
artists. After years of writing for others, Liz Miller is finally
putting out her own cd |
|
| |
Ryan Tennis:
The charming authenticity of Ryan Tennis' soft-on-the-soul sound
leaves the listener with the comfortable feeling of time spent with
an old friend. His singable melodies and disarming lyrics have drawn
comparisons with Paul Simon, James Taylor and Amos Lee.
|
|
| |
Casey Cattie:
is 14 years old. Her number one favorite
thing to do is sing. Even though country music is her thing, she
sings everything just because she loves to change things up. She
just recently bought herself a guitar and can't put it down.
