CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: The
Philadelphia Songwriters Project is calling for original submissions
to showcase up and coming songwriters in the region at the
prestigious Bethlehem Musik Fest. 6 Winners of the contest
earn a 20 min performance slot at Bethlehem Musik Festival
Summer 2008.
Details
-Songwriters of all levels (beginner thru professional) and
all genres are welcome to submit.
There is no specific “theme” or type of music.
Just send your best material.
-Submissions must be Postmarked by May 6,
2008. ( Note: If you feel the need to spend lots of money-
please make a donation to PSP, instead of using it on Priority
or overnight mail. Just prepare 3 days sooner).
- We will acknowledge receipt of your material
-Material must be submitted on CD
-Submission Fee is $10 per song (multiple songs permitted)
-Complete contact information must be included with CD (name,
address, phone, email) -Send no other press materials
-Send to PO BOX 69 Ardmore, PA 19003
-Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of music professionals,
but final judging will take place LIVE at PSP show in June
2008. (specific date/ location TBA).
- Permission to clip or exerpt chosen song is granted to PSP
for purpose of promotion.
-Semi-finalists will take part in live performance in June,
where winners will be chosen
-Winners will be announced at LIVE show in June 2008
- Winners must be available to play the prestigious Bethlehem
Musik Festival August 7, 2008 between the hours of 12 –3
- Artists are responsible for any travel incurred to June
show (Philadelphia area) and Festival (Bethlehem).
- 1 year premium Membership to BroadJam- new
